Parsons & Charlesworth (Tim Parsons, Jessica Charlesworth) are a Chicago-based artists designers exploring the objects and habits of humanity. Their practice relies on objects that allow us to examine and better navigate our future selves. Through sculptures, narratives and photographs, they address critical issues such as climate change and the future of work. They teach at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago. Their work was exhibited worldwide, including at Walker Art Center, 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, Museum of Art (Philadelphia) and WantedDesign (New York City); and is represented in MAKWien's permanent collection. Group shows include The Whole Earth 2045, re:future lab, Berlin (2021) with The Catalog for the Post-Human—previously at the Venice Biennale.
