All things begin from an initial state of disorder. Entropy, like decay or ruin, is a current concept that permeates us, the world, and the economic, social, and political systems in which we live.
As individuals, we are imbued with this substratum. Yet we often tend to follow the universal law (of all matter and energy) into a state of inert uniformity.
How are we to keep alive the troubled hope of a better future? Should we seek less "noise", less disruption, more stability? Or should we explore, learn and practice the multiple—often contradictory—dynamics of systems?
This symposium is set at a tipping point where disorder is at its peak, to navigate and dream the conditions for reconfiguring new norms.
